We are seeking an experienced and motivated Block Layer Supervisor to lead our Walls Division crews. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong block laying experience who can effectively manage teams, maintain productivity, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Requirements

Extensive experience in limestone wall construction and block laying. (2+ minimum years)
Previous experience supervising or leading construction crews.
Excavator and/or Bobcat (Skid Steer) ticket preferred, but not essential.
Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence.
Valid Construction Induction (White) Card.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Commitment to quality workmanship, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate block laying crews across multiple projects.
Lead daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and site safety discussions.
Plan and allocate labour, plant, equipment, and materials to maximise productivity.
Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Mentor, train, and develop crew members to maintain a high-performing team.
Maintain effective communication between site crews, supervisors, and management.
Identify and resolve on-site issues to minimise delays and maintain project schedules.
Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Complete site documentation, inspections, and reporting requirements.
Foster a positive team culture and lead by example on site.
