About the Role

As a Business Development Consultant, you'll work closely with manufacturers to identify opportunities where industrial 3D printing can deliver measurable value.

This is a consultative sales role focused on understanding customer challenges, identifying suitable applications and guiding businesses through their additive manufacturing journey.

You'll be responsible for developing new opportunities while building strong relationships across your territory.

Location: Melbourne (VIC), Brisbane (QLD) or Sydney (NSW)

What You'll Be Doing

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities across key manufacturing sectors

• Building relationships with engineering, operations, maintenance, manufacturing and executive teams

• Conducting customer discovery meetings and part identification workshops

• Managing opportunities through the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close

• Working alongside technical specialists to deliver demonstrations, proofs of concept and ROI assessments

• Attending industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities

• Maintaining accurate pipeline management and forecasting through CRM systems

• Becoming a trusted advisor to customers looking to improve productivity, reduce downtime and increase manufacturing resilience

What We're Looking For

• A proven track record in business development, account management or consultative B2B sales

• Experience selling into manufacturing, engineering, industrial, mining, defence or technology sectors is highly regarded

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A proactive, self-motivated and resilient mindset

• The ability to think creatively and identify opportunities others may miss

• Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from workshop teams through to executives

• Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving capability

• Willingness to travel within your territory and across multiple states as required

• Experience with CRM platforms and pipeline management
