Service Technician - Domestic Gas & HVAC

Alpha Air is a highly regarded heating and cooling company based in Braeside, servicing residential and light commercial customers across Melbourne.

We're known for our technical expertise, quality workmanship and professional customer service. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Service Technician who takes pride in diagnosing problems properly, delivering quality repairs and providing an excellent customer experience.

The Role

This is a service-focused position for a technician who genuinely enjoys fault finding and problem solving.

You'll be provided with a fully maintained company vehicle and equipped with the tools required to carry out diagnostics, servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance across a range of residential and light commercial systems, including:

• Ducted gas heating

• Split systems

• Refrigerated ducted systems

• Evaporative cooling

You'll be trusted to manage your day independently, communicate effectively with customers and coordinators, and maintain the high standards our clients expect.

What We're Looking For

• ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence

• Disconnect/Reconnect Licence

• Type A Gas Appliance Servicing Licence (preferred but not essential)

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across multiple systems

• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions

• Confidence using job management software, completing reports and invoicing customers

• Professional presentation and communication skills

• Current driver's licence

• A genuine commitment to quality workmanship and getting the job done right the first time
