About the role
Belle Maison is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance / Allrounder Person to join our team in Broadbeach on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across residential and commercial properties. You will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that our clients' properties are well-maintained, safe, and functioning optimally. This position offers the opportunity to work independently whilst being part of a supportive team, with direct responsibility for customer satisfaction and property upkeep.

You will be responsible for ensuring the building is safe, well maintained, and running smoothly. Your role will include a mix of pool and spa maintenance repairs, cleaning, contractor coordination and general building oversight

The role will commence on a 38-40 hours per week, with a view of a permanent role after a qualifying period

This position requires 3 + years of certified pool and spa maintenance

Australian citizenship is required for this position

Key responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks on residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs

1. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency call-outs, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions

2. Conduct inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and potential issues before they become costly problems

3. Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each job

4. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations

5. Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on work progress and explaining any issues or recommendations

6. Maintain and care for tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and safe to use

7. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate larger projects and share knowledge and best practices
