Jayco Hobart is an award-winning dealership in the caravan and camping industry. 

Our Service Department has a strong reputation of great customer service. Performing warranty, repairs and service work by our dedicated employees.

In this varied role you will need to be able to competently complete required caravan  repairs and fitting of accessories and spare parts, with attention to detail and respect for quality and customer requirements. 

This is a varied role, including performing warranty repairs to all Jayco products.

This is a full-time position with one RDO per month.

The work you will be involved with includes, but not limited to the following:

  • Fitting accessories including solar, water tanks, bike racks, tv equipment, heaters, air conditioners and more

  • Fault finding

  • Plumbing repairs

  • 12v installations and repairs

  • Cabinetry repairs

  • Ceiling and Roof repair and replacements

  • Side wall interior and exterior replacement

  • Window and Door repairs and replacement

  • Warranty, Insurance repairs

  • Be responsible for, aware of, and ensure workshop staff abide by, our obligations under the WHS legislation

  • Ensure job cards, parts, and material used are clearly filled out

  • General housekeeping including, but not limited to, keeping the workshop and areas clean and tidy

General

Ensure that you understand and adhere to Jayco Hobarts policies and procedures, which may be amended from time to time.

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with personnel from all departments.

Be physically fit and able to work under and above vehicles

Always ensure appropriate and respectful workplace behaviour, and promote a working environment which is free from discrimination, bullying and harassment.
