About the Role:

With Aurizon now responsible for all Haulage Operations at the Murrin Murrin site in Western Australia, we’re on the lookout for skilled Off-Road Haulage MC Driver Operators to join our crew and deliver outstanding service throughout this long-term partnership.

Successful applicants will secure ongoing employment with a leading ASX top 100 company, featuring a highly competitive pay package, superannuation paid on every hour worked, five weeks annual leave, generous site allowance, and the opportunity to collect frequent flyer points.

Working a 2 & 1 FIFO roster you will be an integral part of our off-road haulage operations, delivering efficient, reliable, and safe road operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute a variety of routine and non-routine tasks as directed by the Haulage Leader.
  • Operate medium/heavy rigid/multi-combination vehicles.
  • Adhere to safety and heavy vehicle operating guidelines, including loading requirements and vehicle-specific permits.
  • Conduct plant and equipment inspections/pre-starts as per Aurizon policy.
  • Coupling/uncoupling of trailer equipment, including connecting hoses, cables, and other connections between prime movers and trailing gear.
  • Operate all vehicles and equipment in accordance with Aurizon policies and procedures.
  • Perform cleaning and lower-level maintenance on plant and equipment as directed.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and collect vehicle data to support serviceability checks.
  • Utilise all available competencies and licenses and be willing to obtain any additional required licenses or competencies.

About You:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A strong commitment to Aurizon’s safety culture: “I Know Safe, I Choose Safe.”
  • A current MC truck license (mandatory).
  • Side Tipper experience (mandatory). 
  • Loader and Grader tickets (preferred but not essential).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • A solid work history in the transport and logistics industry.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • A demonstrated clean driving history (records/transcripts required).
