Task & responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles.
• Repair and replace faulty or worn vehicle components.
• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Reassemble engines and mechanical components after repairs.
• Conduct vehicle roadworthiness inspections and identify required repairs.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or higher (mandatory)
• At least 2.5-3 years of relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time management skills.
