Established specialist automotive air conditioning workshop seeking an experienced Senior Technician to join our growing team.
We are looking for a highly skilled technician with exceptional diagnostic ability, strong workshop leadership skills, and the confidence to handle complex repairs across all vehicle makes and models including European vehicles and major dashboard removals.
This is not an entry-level role.
You must be capable of independently diagnosing, repairing, and managing advanced automotive air conditioning repairs professionally, efficiently, and with a high level of care for customers' vehicles.

Air Conditioned Workshop
You will be responsible for:
Diagnosing automotive air conditioning faults accurately and efficiently
Handling large-scale repairs from start to finish
Completing compressor, condenser, TX valve, evaporator, receiver/drier, hose line and part replacements
Performing complex dashboard removals and reassembly work
Working across a wide range of vehicles including European makes
Providing professional workshop notes and detailed job card information in CRM
Recommending preventative or future-proof repair options where appropriate
Supporting workshop workflow and helping lead technicians where required
Maintaining workshop cleanliness, organisation, and professional standards
Working efficiently while minimising mistakes and comebacks
Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience
Strong automotive air conditioning diagnostic experience
Ability to confidently handle complex repairs independently
Experience with large dash-out repairs
Strong understanding of refrigeration components and system operation
High attention to detail and care for customer vehicles
Ability to work unsupervised
Professional attitude and strong communication skills
Team leadership and workshop coordination ability
Pride in workmanship and organisation
Hold a recognised automotive trade certificate
Must hold a current ARC Tick licence for automotive air conditioning work
Must be an Australian citizen with full work rights
4x4 12V and Auto Electrical knowledge
Experience with dual battery systems, DC chargers, lithium setups, or accessory installations
