Ray Turner Technologies is a family-owned electronic security company based in Forest Lake, servicing Brisbane, Ipswich, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.

We specialise in CCTV, alarm systems, intercoms, access control, and electronic security solutions across residential homes, small businesses and construction projects.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Casual Trades Assistant to join our team on an as-needed basis.

This role is ideally suited to someone looking for flexible work, semi-retired tradespersons, subcontractors seeking fill-in work, or experienced trades assistants wanting additional hours around existing commitments.

About the Role

You will assist with the installation and commissioning of electronic security systems across a variety of sites including:

Residential homes
New construction projects
Commercial premises

Typical duties include:

Running and installing cabling
Assisting with CCTV, alarm, intercom and access control installations
Device mounting and fit-off
Assisting with testing and commissioning
Use of hand tools and battery-operated tools
General site assistance and labour

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

Is reliable and turns up when they say they will
Has previous trade, construction or cabling experience
Is confident using hand tools and battery tools
Takes pride in neat workmanship
Understands workplace safety requirements
Is physically capable of manual work
Is comfortable working on ladders and within ceiling spaces when required

Requirements

White Card (essential)
Current driver's licence (preferred)
Previous trade or construction experience (essential)
Full Australian working rights (essential)
Fluent English communication skills (essential)
