An innovative and developing business, Aurora Construction Materials is one of Victoria’s leading producers of concrete, crushed rock and aggregates and using predominantly upcycled materials. Exciting opportunities exists for highly motivated Truck Drivers to become an integral part of our team. Based in Melbourne’s North (Epping and Beveridge), the position will be responsible for the safe delivery of ready-mixed concrete in its correct specification to ensure customer satisfaction.

Our drivers are the frontline representatives of our concrete division, so your professionalism, service and assistance to our customers in delivering and discharging quality concrete defines success in the role.


What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Company Fleet Controller but with day-to-day instruction given by our Concrete Plant Managers, drivers are critical members of our concrete division. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a concrete agitator truck to deliver ready-mixed concrete to various customer sites

  • Ensuring safe and timely delivery while maintaining a professional and courteous manner

  • Completing pre-start checks and maintaining cleanliness of your truck

  • Communicating effectively with batch plant operators and site personnel

  • Following safety procedures and company policies at all times

  • Representing the business with pride and a customer-first attitude
     

Who you are

You’re a safety-conscious and dependable driver who takes pride in your work and understands the importance of delivering quality and service on time.

You hold a valid HR (or higher) truck licence and ideally have experience driving an agitator or heavy vehicle, though training can be provided to the right candidate. You work well independently but also value being part of a strong team. You’re punctual and physically fit.

Please note that this role may involve regular early morning starts, late finishes, and regular Saturday shifts (usually half days).
