About the role

Are you an experienced Waste Management Truck Driver looking to join a dynamic and growing company? Kiddigan PTY LTD' is seeking a talented Waste Management Truck Driver to join our team in Braeside, VIC. This is a full-time opportunity where you will play a crucial role in our waste collection and management operations.

Early morning starts are required for this position to accommodate waste collection schedules.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate and manoeuvre large waste management trucks to collect waste and recyclables from residential and commercial properties

• Ensure all waste is transported and disposed of in compliance with relevant regulations and environmental standards

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain the vehicles in a roadworthy condition

• Assist with loading and unloading waste and recycling materials as needed

• Maintain accurate records of collections, routes, and any incidents or issues encountered

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and respond to any enquiries or concerns in a professional manner

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Waste Management Truck Driver or similar role in the transport and logistics industry

• A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence and a strong understanding of relevant road rules and regulations

• Excellent driving skills and the ability to safely operate large commercial vehicles

• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks

• Valid work visa or appropriate Australian work rights are required for this position
