Founded in 1999 and with offices in Melbourne & Sydney, IKON Services Australia is the product of 40+ years’ experience and a desire to provide tailored cleaning and facilities management services to some of Australia’s iconic & prestigious commercial sites.

We are currently looking for full time, part time and casual cleaners covering morning, afternoon, night, weekend & public holidays.

This role will be responsible for a range of cleaning tasks, working to agreed schedules to deliver a high-quality standard of work.

Responsibilities

• Detailed cleaning of public areas including facilities & washrooms

• Collection of waste from designated waste stations

• Spot cleaning, including mopping and sweeping

• Toilet, car park, and walkway cleaning

• Reporting of any maintenance requirements

• Ensuring all equipment is maintained, used, and stored correctly

• Using appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes ensuring safe work practices are maintained.

• Other duties as requested by the supervisor

About You

To ensure your success in this role we anticipate that the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• Current national police check (mandatory)

• Working with children check (highly regarded)

• Full Australian working rights

• Positive, ‘can do’ attitude

• Reliable and punctual

• Diligent and takes pride in own work

• Good communication skills

• Customer service experience, working with the public

• Ability to work unsupervised and also part of a team

• Great attitude and willingness to learn
