This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Parks Operations Team at the City of Parramatta. If you’re looking for stable, local outdoor work where you can take pride in maintaining the City’s parks and open spaces, this role could be a great fit.
About the role
This role combines tractor operation with hands‑on horticultural and grounds maintenance work. You’ll be part of a team that keeps Parramatta’s parks and open spaces looking their best for the community.

We have 2 x Permanent Full-Time opportunities. Monday-Friday- 38hrs per week.
We are offering an attractive weekly rate from $1,261.29 to $1,332.12 plus 12% superannuation.
This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance.

As part of the evaluation of candidates, shortlisted applicants will be invited to an assessment session, which may include a work‑sample demonstration group task and interview. A candidate pool may be created from this recruitment round.
This position requires the preferred candidate to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical Check, which also includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
