About the role

MSS Security is seeking a Security Officer to join our team as a Full Time Reliever at Monash University in Frankston.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and buildings are secure.
• Escort individuals to and from various locations around the site as required.
• Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required.
• Provide clear directions and assistance to students, staff and visitors to ensure they can navigate the campus efficiently.
• Write reports in response to incidents or unusual activity, ensuring all information is documented.
• Communicate calmly, clearly and effectively with staff, students, and visitors.​

Ideal candidates will have:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional presentation.
• Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
• Ability to walk up to 15-20km a day.

Requirements:

• Full Australian working rights.
• Valid Victorian Security licence.
• Valid Victorian Drivers licence with no restrictions.
• Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain).
• First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
