Portable Equipment Fire Technician

Multiphase specialises in Essential Service Maintenance and installation of Fire Equipment throughout Victoria and are focused on providing excellent Customer Service.

We are seeking a suitable, qualified, and experienced portable fire, door and passive technician to join our team. Remuneration is above standard for the right experience when bonuses are included.

The ideal candidate will be part of a team which is responsible for the service and maintenance of fire equipment (listed below) throughout our list of sites. High regard for customer service is an essential attribute.

Working within the service team you will be required to undertake the testing and rectification work (as qualified) to Australia Standards across commercial, industrial and residential properties around Metro Melbourne of various types of equipment such as:

- Fire extinguishers

- Fire hose reels

- Fire hydrants

- Fire and smoke doors

- Passive Fire Equipment

- Penetration inspections and audits

You can have the ability to work independently on your own portfolio or receive administration support from the service dept.

The ideal candidate will have: -

• Prior Industry 2-3 years experience and Trade qualifications are essential

• Restricted plumbing license also preferable.

• Be competent in fault rectification and repairs

• Be well presented

• Work independently and within a team

• Be able to test, service and maintain to Australian Standards, portable equipment, fire pumps and hydrant systems, Fire Doors

• Excellent understanding of Australian Standards

• Have excellent organizational skills

• Be able to communicate at all levels with our team and our clients

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent understanding of safety procedures and OH&S standards
