Coconut Grove Resort is seeking a reliable and hands-on Resort Handyman to join our friendly team in beautiful Port Douglas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in keeping a resort running smoothly, and thrives in a relaxed tropical environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of our resort, ensuring facilities and guest areas are always presented to a high standard.

Key Duties Include

General repairs and maintenance across the property
Preventative maintenance and routine checks
Responding promptly to maintenance requests
Cary out duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Assisting with grounds and outdoor upkeep
Air-conditioning maintenance and filter cleaning
Pool maintenance (experience preferred but not essential)

About You

Previous handyman or maintenance experience preferred but training will be provided.
Practical problem-solver with a can-do attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Ability to work a flexible roster including weekends.
