Painter

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting (including cleaning, sanding, patching, filling holes, sealing, minor repairs to timber/plaster where required)
• Apply paint, varnishes, stains and protective coatings to internal and external surfaces
• Complete painting work to a high standard, meeting quality and safety requirements
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition
• Liaise with clients on-site as required in a professional manner
• Coordinate with supervisors, trades and subcontractors as required.
