Strong coaches are everywhere. Great ones are rare.

We're not looking for someone who can just coach a clean squat or count reps. We're looking for someone who genuinely connects with people, who remembers names, notices when something's off, and makes clients feel seen as well as challenged.

That's the standard at Vikasati. And it's non-negotiable.

Who we are

Vikasati is an open-air bathhouse offering contrast therapy, community, and challenge — bringing wellness back to the elemental essentials that help people live well. Movement. Restoration. Belonging. We exist to redefine how people live well, and the coaching programme is central to that mission.

The role

You'll lead small group training sessions and one-on-one PT at Vikasati, sessions built around strength, conditioning, and real results. This role is offering 14-20 hrs of small group training along 4 to 10 hrs per week of 1-1 training, a mix of morning and evening shifts. If that suits your rhythm, read on.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coaching structured small group sessions and one-on-one PT with precision and presence

  • Holding technique and safety standards without sacrificing the energy of the session

  • Building genuine relationships with members, the kind that drive consistency and keep people coming back

  • Adapting programming to meet individual clients where they are, not where you wish they were

  • Keeping the training environment sharp, clean, organised, and set up for a great experience

  • Collaborating with the wider Vikasati team to deliver a seamless member journey

What we need from you

You live and breathe this. Not as a brand exercise, as a genuine way of life. You understand the body, respect the process, and bring real evidence-informed thinking to your coaching. You're across thinkers like Ben Patrick, Paul Chek, Charles Poliquin and Andrew Huberman, not because it sounds good, but because you actually engage with it.

More than anything, you're a people person. Sharp with it. The kind of coach whose clients achieve their goals and genuinely enjoy the process.

Specifically:

  • Cert III & IV in Fitness

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification

  • Solid grounding in strength and conditioning principles

  • A track record of coaching clients effectively, not just training them

  • Exceptional communication skills. This is the one we won't compromise on.

  • Comfortable working early mornings and evenings as part of a regular roster, no unpredictable split shifts

  • Bonus: you compete or have competed — Hyrox, Turf Games, CrossFit, anything that tests you

What you'll get
  • Competitive pay based on experience

  • Complimentary Vikasati membership, full access to the bathhouse and gym

  • A consistent roster with no guesswork

  • 30% team discount on all products

  • A tight, driven coaching crew who push each other and take the work seriously

About Vikasati

Founders Ben and Will built Vikasati because they'd seen what happened when movement, recovery, and community came together properly. Not a gym with a sauna bolted on. A place designed from the ground up to help people function at their best, in the gym, at work, and at home.

Everything here is built with that purpose in mind. Including the coaching team.

To apply: Send your resume and a short note telling us about a client you're proud of coaching, what the challenge was and how you approached it. That'll tell us more than most cover letters ever do.
