We're looking for an Ongoing Support Mentor to join our Rockhampton team and help participants maintain long-term employment through personalised support, coaching, and workplace engagement.

About the Role

As an Ongoing Support Mentor, you'll support participants who are already employed, helping them overcome challenges, build confidence, and maintain long-term success in the workplace.

You'll work closely with participants, employers, and Employment Mentors to provide tailored support that delivers lasting outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship management, case management, and helping people achieve their goals.

Your Day Could Include:

  • Supporting participants to maintain employment and achieve workplace goals
  • Conducting regular Ongoing Support and Post Placement Support appointments
  • Building strong relationships with employers and workplace stakeholders
  • Identifying support needs and coordinating appropriate assistance
  • Conducting Ongoing Support Assessments and reviews
  • Maintaining accurate case notes and compliance records
  • Assisting participants to navigate challenges in the workplace
  • Working alongside Employment Mentors to transition participants into Ongoing Support
What We're Looking For

You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys supporting people, building strong relationships, and creating positive outcomes.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Must have experience in Employment Services, with an understanding of post-placement and ongoing support functions
  • Strong participant support skills
  • An understanding of disability and barriers to employment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet performance expectations
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
Essential Requirements
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Current Driver Licence
  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check
  • Ability to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Work full time on site
