Retail Manager

As a Retail Manager you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the store, inspiring your team to success, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while achieving and exceeding sales targets. You will be a true retailer who understands how to build strong stakeholder relationships, inspire business owners, drive accountability and successfully execute strategy through people.

Task & responsibilities

• The successful day to day operations of a high-sales volume Pizza and Pasta retail franchise to ensure operational excellence. 
• Manage store operations including rostering, labour costs and inventory control.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top retail talent while fostering an inclusive and positive team culture. 
• Developing strategies to deliver results and performance in store, across all delivery options.
• Plan the Local Store Marketing Activities. Visual merchandising to achieve best possible sales outcomes. 
• Identification of sales opportunities and enhanced menu inclusions. 
• Supervising and mentoring retail staff. 
• Drive exceptional customer service that translates into increased customer satisfaction and loyalty. 
• Ensuring a high level of stock (fresh product & packaging) control and minimal shrinkage. 
• Compliance to workplace, Health and safety management policies.

Qualification & experience

• At least 3 years’ experience in a customer service retail environment at management level. 
• Having formal qualifications preferred, not essential.
• Proven ability to organize, mentor and provide leadership to staff. 
• Demonstrate a strong customer focus - possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to deal and work with a diverse range of customers.
• Be highly organised and able to prioritise workloads to effectively meet deadlines. 
• Ability to create, implement, manage and sell new product lines and promotions.
