Martelli’s Fruit Market is currently seeking a full-time Retail Manager for our business located in Cherrybrook.

Your duties will include: 

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operation of the store. 
  • Monitor stock levels and organise purchasing and replenishment of products. 
  • Ensure products are displayed attractively and the store is clean and well presented. 
  • Develop and implement pricing, promotional and marketing activities. 
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare reports on store operations. 
  • Control store expenses and assist with budgeting and financial performance. 
  • Recruit, train, supervise and support retail staff. 
  • Prepare staff rosters and manage staffing requirements. 
  • Resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally. 
  • Maintain high standards of customer service throughout the store. 
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure product availability and quality. 
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety and company policies. 
  • Monitor inventory, minimise stock losses and reduce wastage.

In return you will receive:

  • Package: $79,000-82,000 per annum plus superannuation
  • Position: Full time (38 hours a week)
  • Ongoing support from our team

Requirements of position

  • AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma and at least 1 year of relevant work experience or 3 years of experience to substitute formal qualification
