Retail Manager

Our Client, Maloneys Grocer is a locally loved grocery store that offers premium quality produce, gourmet products, and exceptional customer service. Maloneys are seeking a dedicated and organized Retail Manager to join their team in NSW, to ensure smooth administrative operations and support business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Provide exceptional customer service by guiding customers in their purchases and offering expert product advice. 
• Plan and execute purchasing strategies, implement marketing initiatives, and establish competitive pricing for products and services. 
• Lead promotional campaigns and advertise the store's offerings to boost brand visibility.
• Develop and manage the store's product offerings, including monitoring stock levels and setting service standards to ensure customer satisfaction. 
• Ensure that all operations comply with occupational health and safety standards. 
• Maintain up-to-date records of inventory and financial transactions to ensure smooth operational management. 
• Oversee the store's budgeting process, ensuring effective cost management and profitability.
• Manage the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff to maintain high performance and service quality.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years in a similar role, preferably in retail sector or service stations. 
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a related field 
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence decision-making and foster energy and commitment within the organization. 
• Capable of managing a dynamic and constantly changing environment with evolving demands
