Store Manager

Exciting new opportunity, our well-established business is preparing to open a new store in Caboolture, we are currently seeking a dedicated & experienced Store Manager to join our industry leading business.

This role will suit someone who is wanting to take their retail/trade Store Management career to the next level. 

Do you have experience in building a strong customer base & the drive to chase results? 

Are you a natural with customers & have worked in a warehouse or store manager role previously? If so, this may be the role for you!

Our business has a mix of Trade and Retail customers and falls into the home improvement sector. 

Make no mistake the role is busy & we will expect a lot from you! But in turn you will develop great skills & sound industry knowledge taking your career to the next level.

We believe strongly in fostering local talent & employ over 140 staff at our many store locations from Sales, Manufacturing, Distribution & Administration - while enjoying a great working relationship with our large distributor network across Australia.

THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Building sales and a solid customer base.

• Identifying & attracting new customers, this will be the basis of all tasks.

• Has a non-stop drive to reach & exceed sales targets?

• Driving sales to meet & exceed business expectations & objectives.

• Day to day store operations including implementation of business standards.

• Developing effective working relationships Employees & with customers. 

• Management of a small team & providing a safe work environment in line with WHS legislation.

• Following all Company systems.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Previous store management experience.

• Demonstrated experience in attracting customers & delivering consistent results. 

• Can display strong communication skills & provide clear direction to the Team.

• Knows & appreciates process – can provide examples of process implementation. 

• Can complete the physical duties associated with packing orders & the loading of vehicles.

• Has a desire to build a good customer base -trade, distributor & retail.

• Has a very strong focus on store standards & presentation, thrives on getting in & getting the job done.

• Has advanced computer skills.
