Position Overview

As a Retail Manager at Phone Xperts, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Perth-based store. You will lead a team, drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure we maintain our reputation for top-tier customer service. The successful candidate will bring their experience in retail management to help Phone Xperts grow and thrive in the Perth market.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and day-to-day supervision of team members

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock control to meet sales demand

Prepare and manage budgets, expenses, and overall store financial performance

Develop and implement purchasing plans, pricing structures, and promotional strategies

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards and relevant regulations

Maintain accurate records of sales, stock movements, and financial transactions

Drive sales by actively engaging with customers and providing product guidance

Plan and execute advertising and in-store marketing initiatives

Establish and maintain high customer service standards across all operations

Requirements

Qualifications:

AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma

At least 1 year of relevant work experience or 3 years of experience to substitute formal qualification

Proven experience in retail management, ideally in electronics or mobile phone retail

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong sales acumen and experience driving business results

Knowledge of inventory and financial management

High-level organizational and problem-solving abilities

Understanding of WHS regulations and retail compliance
