Real Estate Investment Associate

Our client is a leading global institutional investor with a diversified portfolio across public and private markets, including significant real estate investments. The firm is seeking an Investment Associate to join its Sydney-based real estate team to support investment activities across Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
  
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and underwrite real estate investment opportunities through financial modelling, market analysis, and investment feasibility assessment.
• Support the execution of transactions across the investment lifecycle, including due diligence, structuring, documentation, and closing.
• Contribute to portfolio and asset management activities by working with operating partners and service providers to develop and implement asset strategies and business plans.
• Monitor asset performance against underwriting assumptions, budgets, and market benchmarks, and provide ongoing portfolio analysis and reporting.
• Assist with relationship management, market coverage, and sourcing of new investment opportunities.

    
Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, top tier private equity, real estate investment.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills (Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint).
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills with high attention to detail; action-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
