About the Role:
Our client is a well-regarded property group managing a premium commercial office asset in Sydney CBD, and they are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join their team on an immediate start 3-month contract.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day facilities management of a commercial office building, working closely with stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth building operations and compliance.
It requires someone who understands how commercial buildings operate and how minor works are scoped, coordinated, and delivered.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee hard & soft services across a commercial office building
  • Manage and coordinate minor building works (fit-outs, repairs, small CAPEX projects)
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and property stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, essential services, and statutory requirements
  • Review contractor performance, variations, and scopes of work
  • Support operational budgets and reporting
  
Requirements:
  • Proven Facilities Management experience within commercial office buildings (essential)
  • Strong understanding of building services and minor works delivery
  • Experience managing contractors and interpreting scopes of work (not performing physical works)
  • Professional, organised, and confident dealing with stakeholders
