Senior Operations Manager

HTC Foods is a growing importer and distributor of seafood and frozen products supplying restaurants, wholesalers, and retailers across Australia. As we expand our operations and warehouse capabilities, we are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee supply chain, warehouse, and operational performance.

This role is ideal for a strong operations leader with proven experience in both supply chain management and warehouse operations, particularly within FMCG, food distribution, or cold-chain environments.

• Lead and manage end-to-end operations including warehouse, inventory, logistics, and order fulfilment

• Oversee warehouse operations, dispatch, receiving, and stock control

• Manage supply chain planning, ensuring reliable product availability and efficient inbound logistics

• Work closely with the Purchasing and Sales teams to align stock planning with demand

• Ensure accurate inventory management and stock visibility

• Implement and maintain operational systems, SOPs, and process improvements

• Monitor and drive performance across key operational metrics including order accuracy, stock availability, and operational efficiency

• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and cold-chain handling requirements

• Lead and develop the warehouse and operations team

• Support operational readiness as the business scales and expands distribution

• Minimum 7+ years experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics management

• Proven experience managing warehouse operations

• Strong supply chain management experience including inventory planning and logistics coordination

• Experience in FMCG, food distribution, seafood, or cold-chain environments

• Demonstrated ability to lead operational teams and improve processes

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

• Experience implementing operational systems or process improvements

• Experience in imported food distribution

• Familiarity with cold storage or temperature-controlled supply chains

• Experience supporting business growth or warehouse expansion
