The Opportunity: 

Are you ready to work where alpine landscapes meet adventure? We’re seeking a versatile and proactive Resort Operations Officer who thrives in the outdoors.
Lake Mountain Alpine Resort is a family-orientated snow play park. It has the distinction of being the closest alpine snow resort to Melbourne, just a short 2 hours' drive from the city centre.

Key Accountabilities:     
  

  • Deliver a range of resort operational and support services year-round, adapting to seasonal and operational needs.
  • Operate and maintain plant, equipment, and resort infrastructure safely and efficiently. 
  • Assist with winter operations including snow clearing, grooming support, parking, and village services. 
  • Provide helpful, standard customer service to visitors and staff. 
  • Maintain accurate operational records and support safety checks and compliance requirements. 
  • Respond to operational issues and escalate hazards appropriately. 
  • Work collaboratively across the Assets & Operations team. 
Qualifications and Experience: 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in operational roles involving plant and equipment. 
  • OHS White Card. 
  • Traffic control/management ticket. 
  • Chainsaw (crosscut) competency. 
  • Medium Rigid licence (desirable). 
  • Front End Loader & Excavator tickets (desirable). 
  • First Aid & CPR (desirable). 
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Basic computer literacy.
The successful candidate will be required to have:  
  • Full Australian working rights.  
  • Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests.  
  • Valid driver’s licence (Victorian preferred) 
  • Victorian Working with Children Check - Employee   
Location: Lake Mountain, Marysville Victoria 

Hourly pay rate:  $38.14 per hour (including casual loading)
