This is a great opportunity to be part of the world’s largest bulk export port authority, encompassing the operating ports of Ashburton, Dampier, Port Hedland and Varanus Island, and five future port sites. The Materials Logistics Officer is responsible for coordinating daily stores and materials activities to ensure the efficient and timely supply of parts, spares and consumables required to support maintenance operations. You will manage inventory processes including purchasing, receiving, storage, and distribution, while maintaining accurate records and stock levels to meet operational requirements. You will report to the Stores Supervisor and collaborate with maintenance teams and suppliers to ensure materials are available when required. The role also supports inventory optimisation, stocktaking, system updates and continuous improvement initiatives, while maintaining compliance with safety, quality and inventory management processes About You This role will suit you if you enjoy diversity, seek out opportunities for growth, and connect with Pilbara Ports' values of Safety, Excellence, Teamwork, Integrity and Care. You are an experienced logistics or stores professional with demonstrated capability in inventory management within a maintenance or industrial environment with excellent understanding of mechanical and electrical componentry. You bring strong knowledge of materials coordination, procurement processes and stock control systems, with the ability to manage competing priorities while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You are a proactive and detail-oriented team member with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
