Your Role

As CMT Senior Soils Technicians, Soil Technicians & Trainee Technicians, bring your can‑do attitude, eagerness to learn, and shine with teamwork, adaptability, and safety‑first skills.

You’ll:

• Experience in MRWA and Australian standard test methods

• NATA signatory;

• NDM Portable Gauges Radiation Licence;

• A valid C class drivers licence;

• Physical fitness to a level that will allow you to operate equipment such as penetrometers safely and competently;

• A client focus;

• Ability to work unsupervised;

• Ability to follow procedures accurately and efficiently;

• Self-motivation and proactivity;

• Availability to do FIFO remote work as required.

What You’ll Bring

• A valid C class Drivers Licence

• Physical capability to safely and competently operate field equipment, such as Perth Sand Penetrometers, power hand augers, and other manual tools

• Ability to workday to day unsupervised at various sites.

• Ability to follow procedures and standards.

• Is client oriented and self-motivated

• White card (advantageous)

• No previous experience required

Training and Development

This is an entry-level position, and while previous experience in laboratory or field testing is beneficial, it is not a requirement. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided, along with the opportunity to undertake Diploma Courses in Certificate III and Certificate IV Materials Testing. This structured training ensures that all new team members gain the technical skills and industry knowledge needed to succeed in the role.
