Task & responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing supply chain strategies, objectives, and operational plans to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery.
- Identify business gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities through the application of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Analyse and evaluate current supply chain systems, processes, and organisational structures to identify areas for optimization.
- Develop statistical demand forecasts using historical data, time-series analysis, and predictive modelling tools within planning systems.
- Integrate commercial inputs from sales, marketing, and finance (including promotions, pricing strategies, and product launches) to refine and improve forecast accuracy.
- Facilitate and contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, including leading demand review meetings and presenting forecast performance, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders.
- Manage product lifecycle planning, including new product introductions (NPI), ongoing demand adjustments, and phase-out strategies to minimise excess inventory and obsolescence.
- Align demand plans with supply planning functions to ensure appropriate inventory levels, service targets, and production schedules are achieved.
- Prepare proposals to revise methods, optimise workflows, and support organisational innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the implementation of approved process improvements and operational changes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Qualification & experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Minimum 1 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain analysis
- Proficiency in forecasting tools and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
