J&F Trucking Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Fleet Manager to oversee and optimise our transport operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient management of vehicles, drivers, and logistics processes while maintaining safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating fleet operations to support business growth and service excellence. Task & responsibilities

• Plan, organise, direct, control, and coordinate fleet operations and logistics activities 
• Oversee vehicle acquisition, maintenance schedules, and disposal strategies 
• Monitor fleet performance, utilisation, and operational efficiency 
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies 
• Manage driver workforce including scheduling, performance, and training 
• Implement cost control measures, budgeting, and financial reporting for fleet operations 
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth logistics operations 
• Analyse operational data to improve productivity and reduce downtime 
• Develop and enforce risk management and safety procedures 
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across fleet and logistics functions 

Qualification & experience

•    Relevant qualification in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field 

•    Minimum 1 year experience in related field

•    Proven experience in fleet management, transport operations, or logistics management 

•    Strong knowledge of transport compliance, safety regulations, and industry standards 

•    Demonstrated leadership and team management skills 

•    Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities 

•    Proficiency in fleet management systems and reporting tools 

•    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
