Task & responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies, policies, and operational plans.
• Prepare and execute plans to maintainrequired inventory levels while minimising operational costs.
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure qualitystandards, cost efficiency, and timely delivery requirements are achieved.
• Monitor and assess storageand inventory management systems to meet supply demands and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Manage recording systems to track the movement of supplies and finished goods, ensuring timely reordering and restocking processes.
• Liaise with internal departments and customers regarding outbound goods requirements and related transportation arrangements.
• Supervise and oversee the recording and processing of purchasing, storage,and distribution transactions.
• Direct staff activities, provide guidance, and monitorteam performance to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Ensure products and services are delivered in accordance with customer and client requirements.
• Plan, organise, direct, control, and coordinate the supply, storage, and distribution of goods produced by the organisation.

Qualification & experience

• Bachelor’s degreeor higher qualification in a relatedfield
• Minimum of 12 monthsof experience
• Eligibility to work in Australia
• Strong English communication skills,both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent verbaland written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
• Experience within the Australian logistics.
