Machine Operator

Extruding sheet for the Australasian market for over 40 years, Flyte Extruded Plastics supplies the fabrication, thermoforming and printing markets. We specialise in extruding polyolefin and styrenic based resins for rigid plastic sheet applications.

Due to significant investment and growth Flyte Extruded Plastics offers exciting opportunities to join the production team. We're seeking reliable and motivated Machine Operators to join our dayshift and night shift 12 hr teams with the shift operation allowing you a 3-day long weekend every week.

Candidates must be available to work both day shift and night shift patterns.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

· Operate, trouble shoot and monitor production machinery

· Ensure products meet quality standards

· Keep the work area clean, safe, and well‑organised

· Accurately complete production documentation

About You:

· Previous production experience is highly desirable, however not essential

· Can-do attitude and a strong work ethic

· Reliable and a high level of attention to detail

· Safety first mindset

· Sound mechanical aptitude

· Team oriented

· Must have Australian work rights
