Task & responsibilities

• Operate HC-class tipper trucks (truck + trailer combination) across quarry and construction sites.
• Secure loads properly to ensure safe transportation and compliance with road safety laws.
• Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections, routine maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Unload materials at designated sites safely and efficiently, using tipping mechanisms as required.
• Follow site traffic management plans and adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and assist in documenting trip logs and delivery records.
• Liaise with site supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any delays or access issues.
• Comply with company policies, traffic regulations, and fatigue management protocols.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience operating tipper or heavy combination
• Current HC (Heavy Combination) driver’s licence
• Experience with trucks and Road Ranger gearboxes is essential
• Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• Sound knowledge of load restraint techniques, fatigue management, and vehicle safety
• Strong focus on workplace safety and compliance
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Physically fit with the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
