About the Role

We seek a skilled Transport Allocator to join our team, manage job and fleet allocation, provide exceptional customer service, strictly adhere to all compliance requirements, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and perform data entry and admin requirements.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate & execute the daily operations of the company fleet of tippers and tankers

• Coordinate metro, regional and interstate route deliveries and pick ups

• Ensure compliance with WH&S, Fatigue Management, Mass Management, COR, and company policies

• Optimise utilisation of assets and labour resources

• Troubleshooting quickly and effectively any operational issues

• Provide a high level of customer service

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a bright, can-do outlook who can bring their experience and take ownership of this vital role within the team. To succeed and grow in this role, you will have developed skills including:

• Prior experience in a similar role and industry highly regarded.

• A minimum of 3+ years transport allocation experience is required.

• Knowledge and monitoring of fatigue and mass in accordance with legislative requirements.

• Understanding of the chain of responsibility

• Professional presentation with a friendly and helpful manner with an ability to deal effectively with a diverse workforce.

• Strong organisational and multitasking skills

• A mature attitude with a logical and methodical approach to your work

• Clear and concise communication skills

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes

• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry

• Expert level computer proficiency is required for this role.
