Our well-established residential plumbing and gasfitting business in Canberra is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Operations & Scheduling Manager to oversee daily administrative operations and support the smooth running of the business.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organisation, takes pride in accuracy, and enjoys keeping systems, schedules, and processes running efficiently.

We are a professional residential plumbing company specialising in plumbing, drainage, gasfitting, evaporative cooling, and gas heating. Client service is at the core of everything we do, and we pride ourselves on delivering reliable, high-quality service for homeowners across Canberra.

The Role

The Operations & Scheduling Manager plays a critical role in ensuring jobs are scheduled accurately, documentation is completed correctly, and clients receive a smooth and professional experience from their first enquiry through to job completion.

This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing incoming calls, emails, and client enquiries

  • Scheduling and coordinating daily jobs for technicians

  • Preparing invoices, quotes, and job documentation with a high level of accuracy

  • Maintaining job management systems and ensuring records are complete and up to date

  • Communicating with clients regarding bookings, confirmations, and job updates

  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors when required

  • Supporting compliance documentation and administrative processes

About You
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Highly organised with strong time management skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple competing responsibilities

  • Previous administration, office management, or operations experience required

  • Experience within the trades or service industry is highly regarded
