Due to continued growth within our TPD practice, we are seeking an ambitious and client-focused lawyer to join our team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners in a well-established plaintiff practice, managing a diverse range of Total and Permanent Disability claims while developing your expertise in personal injury law.

About the RoleYou will work within our growing TPD practice, managing your own files with appropriate supervision and support from senior lawyers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of TPD claims from inception through to resolution
Providing strategic advice to clients regarding their entitlements
Reviewing medical and financial evidence
Liaising with insurers, superannuation funds and external stakeholders
Drafting correspondence, submissions and legal documents
Conducting negotiations and resolving claims
Maintaining exceptional client service standards throughout the life of a matter
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
A genuine interest in plaintiff personal injury law
A minimum of 1 year post-admission experience; or
At least 2 years of pre-admission experience within a personal injury practice
Experience in TPD, personal injury or insurance litigation (highly regarded)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
A proactive and client-focused approach
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A positive attitude and desire to develop professionally
