Practice Nurse (RN)

About The Role

SmartClinics Clayfield hosts a number of passionate doctors who are highly experienced in a broad range of areas, including general medicine, chronic disease management, skin checks, preventative advice and medicine, and immunisations.

We are looking for a Casual Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse) to join our team, with a passion and knowledge of care planning. We are looking to employ somebody who can come in and hit the ground running, so previous General Practice experience is preferrable for this role.

What you will bring

Your experience in health care will enable you to perform a range of clinical duties, including, but not limited to:

• Care planning

• Health Assessments

• Childhood Immunisations 

• Cold Chain

• Wound Care Management

• Maintaining Patient Records

• Stock Management

You will also:

• Hold current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.

• Be an Australian resident or have permanent work rights with no restrictions.

• Have the ability to work independently, but also be a reliable team player.

• Provide excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Show enthusiasm and initiative with opportunities for quality improvement.

• Display empathy and understanding.

• Can prioritise tasks and manage time.

• Have strong written and verbal communication.
