Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Personal Injury Paralegal role based in Bankstown, NSW. The Personal Injury Paralegal will assist solicitors with the management of personal injury files from initial client contact through to settlement or finalisation.

Daily tasks include drafting and preparing legal documents, correspondence, and court forms; organizing and reviewing medical and financial records; and maintaining accurate and up-to-date file notes and case management systems. The role involves conducting legal and factual research, liaising with clients, insurers, medical providers, and other parties, and coordinating appointments and follow-ups. The paralegal will also help prepare briefs to counsel, compile evidence and timelines, and support lawyers in hearings, conferences, and negotiations.

Qualifications
  • Experience in personal injury (workers compensation, CTP, PL, TPD) with an understanding of relevant legislation, procedures, and court rules.
  • Excellent Communication skills to engage professionally with clients, colleagues, medical practitioners, insurers and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Document Review, including organising, analysing, and summarising medical records, reports, and other evidence.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with legal practice management software, Microsoft Office, and electronic document management systems.
  • Commitment to ethical, client-centered practice and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
