Personal Banking Consultant - Mount Isa

The Role

We are seeking a friendly and genuine team player to join our Mount Isa branch team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the finance industry or who is seeking a good work/life balance. 

As a Personal Banking Consultant your main objective will be to provide an exceptional level of personalised service to Members and guide them to a successful outcome by identifying individual needs, problem solving and proactively promoting our products and service. 

Some of your key duties include having quality conversations and educating our Members on our products, managing basic Member enquiries and transactions, and maintaining accurate records in our systems. Your positive manner, attention to detail and eagerness to remain up to date with skills and knowledge will allow you to succeed in this role.

This is a full-time permanent position, working approximately 38 hours per week.

Selection Criteria

• Experience in a similar customer service position
• Demonstrated sales experience
• Cash handling experience
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• A demonstrated ability to positively adapt to change
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to quickly build rapport with people and work as a supportive team member
• Sound knowledge in Microsoft Office
• Experience in the Finance industry (desirable)
