Commercial Account Manager - Insurance Broker

Delmont Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients. The role involves providing professional insurance advice, arranging and  renewing insurance policies, negotiating terms with insurers, and assisting clients with risk management and claims matters. The successful candidate will build strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand and enhance clients' insurance programs.

Task & responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: Owning the end-to-end renewal cycle for ~300 commercial clients.
• Client Advisory: Understanding clients’ requirements, business risks and recommending tailored insurance solutions.
• Market Negotiation: Working with insurers to secure competitive coverage, terms and pricing.
• Claims Advocacy: Supporting clients through claims and delivering practical outcomes.
• Relationship Building: Building long-term client relationships and becoming a trusted adviser.
• Growth Partnering: Supporting our Growth Director on new business and identifying opportunities within your book.
• System Building: Giving your input on how we can make our processes and tech-stack better.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum Tier 2 General Insurance qualification 
• Experience: 3–5 years in Commercial Broking.
• Technical: Solid understanding of commercial lines and experience with INSIGHT.
• Vibe: You are "hungry" and adaptable. You enjoy the pace of a young, boutique firm where everyone pulls together.
