A Class Building Materials is on the hunt for a creative, camera-confident Marketing Content Creator to bring our brand to life — based primarily at our Ravenhall store. This is a content-first role built around filming: you’ll be the storyteller behind our social presence, capturing everything from in-store moments and customer testimonials to real landscaping and fencing projects out in the field. If you live and breathe Reels and TikTok videos, know how to turn a customer story or a job site into great content, and actually know how to grow an audience (not just post to one), we want to hear from you. You’ll also lend a hand to our sales team when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, film, edit, and publish multimedia content (videos, images, reels, audio) across social media platforms.Film and produce customer testimonials and project showcases that build trust and credibility for the brand.Drive audience growth, engagement, and reach through trend-led, platform-native content strategy.Write and manage social media copy, and lead content ideation including commercial integration opportunities.Monitor audience engagement and content performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize future content.Travel between our store locations and installation sites to film and photograph landscaping and fencing work.Provide support to the sales team as needed. Key Selection CriteriaExperience working in an Australian hardware or trade retail environment is highly regarded. Background within an agency is desirable.Proven ability to grow an audience on social media — you understand the platforms, algorithms, and content strategies that drive real growth, not just how to post content.Native fluency with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube — you know what works on each channel and why.A demonstrated portfolio of short-form video content (Reels, TikToks) — concept, film, edit, post.Hands-on experience with Canva and in-app editing tools (CapCut, Reels editor, TikTok native editor); Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere) experience preferred but not essential.Strong presentation skills and comfortable both in front of and behind the camera.A strong eye for visual storytelling and brand consistency, comfortable working within a Brand Style Guide and Tone of Voice while still producing content with personality.Trend-aware — you actively monitor emerging audio, formats, and pop culture moments and act on them quickly.AI-savvy — comfortable experimenting with new AI tools and effects (filters, generative edits, emerging formats) to keep content fresh and ahead of the curve.Excellent written communication — copy and captions that match the brand voice.Strong creativity, attention to detail, and ability to produce engaging digital content.Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving in a fast-changing environment.Confident computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), to support the sales team with administrative tasks as needed. Additional RequirementsCurrent driver’s license; own vehicle preferred (fuel and travel expenses covered for work-related travel).Full working rights in Australia.Willingness to undergo a police check Our Approach To TalentWe don’t believe a degree or years of experience defines talent. If you can show us a strong portfolio of content you’ve created — and prove you know how to grow and engage an audience — that matters far more to us than where you studied or how long you’ve been doing it.
