Ramsay Health Care is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across our Melbourne Metro & South East hospital network, including The Avenue Hospital, Masada Private Hospital, Mitcham Private Hospital, and Waverley Private Hospital, by building and strengthening our Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) pipeline. This role plays a critical part in shaping the future clinical and commercial performance of these facilities by identifying, recruiting, onboarding, and retaining high-value VMOs across key specialties and emerging clinical areas. You will act as the primary relationship manager for prospective and early-career VMOs, working closely with hospital executives, GP Liaison Officers, and industry partners to build sustainable referral pathways, drive growth opportunities, and foster long-term VMO engagement across the Ramsay network. Through strong market presence and stakeholder relationships, you will help strengthen our position across Melbourne’s Metro and South East catchment and support the continued growth of our hospitals and clinical services.

You will lead the end-to-end development of VMO growth strategy across your assigned catchments, with a strong focus on pipeline creation, relationship development, and utilisation optimisation.
