Network Engineer – TSPV Cleared | Defence Environment Join Vertical Scope Group’s (VSG) client in Adelaide as we secure a driven, highly skilled and competent, TSPV Network Engineer to join our award-winning team in supporting our long-term costumer. 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension optionsOnsite role based in South Australia, with some positions located at RAAF EdinburghCurrent TSPV security clearance required and be able to complete organizational suitability requirementsHands-on experience with Cisco and/or Juniper networking systems, core ICT infrastructure, network monitoring tools, and IT service management processes Role:This is an excellent opportunity for network engineering professionals to support a complex, security-focused ICT environment. Working as part of an operational team, you will contribute to the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of critical network infrastructure that supports secure digital services. The role is suited to candidates who are technically capable, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a structured, high-security environment, including shift work where required. Your duties will include:Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of a complex ICT environment containing both CISCO and Juniper based networking systems, as well as Cryptographic Networking devices.Monitor the reliability of systems using standard procedures and tools to carry out defined system configuration, backups and restoring data where necessary. This includes the use of network management tools to collect and report on load and performance statistics.Capture and respond to incidents, problems and changes within the IT service management platform. This includes administration of accounts and permissions.Identify operational problems and contribute to their resolution.Document existing and new features and processes related to system support and enhancement.
