Role Description This is a contract, on-site Production Assistant role located in Armadale, VIC. The Production Assistant will support day-to-day studio operations, including preparing sets, organizing equipment and props, and assisting photographers, videographers, and stylists during shoots. Responsibilities include coordinating shoot schedules, handling basic administrative tasks, and liaising with team members and clients on-site to ensure smooth production workflows. The role also involves monitoring shot lists, helping manage digital assets and file organization, and supporting basic post-production handover. The Production Assistant will contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient studio environment while adapting to changing priorities in a high-volume production setting.
Qualifications
Strong Production Assistance skills, including set preparation, equipment handling, and on-set support.Quality Control capabilities to check assets, ensure consistency with briefs, and flag issues for the production team.Customer Service skills to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, crew, and vendors.Basic Editing familiarity to assist with file naming, organization, and coordinating handover for post-production.Teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced studio, take direction, and support colleagues across disciplines.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with strong attention to detail.Comfort working on-site in a studio or production environment; ability to stand, move equipment, and work around sets as needed.Prior experience in photography, film, media, or creative production environments is preferred but not mandatory.Reliable, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving production needs.
