This newly created, field-based role is focused on driving sustainable growth through admissions, occupancy and referral partnerships across the region. If you're looking for a permanent position where relationships, outcomes and person-centred values genuinely matter, this is a role where you can make a visible impact.

About the Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you'll drive residential aged care occupancy and grow referral networks while expanding service utilisation across home care, allied health, rehabilitation and home modifications. This role is heavily admissions-led, working closely with hospitals and community referrers to convert enquiries into placements, while also identifying new partnership and revenue opportunities. You'll be an individual contributor, owning your pipeline and performance targets end-to-end.

Benefits
  • $110,000-$120,000 + super, plus salary packaging and performance bonus
  • Newly created role with scope to shape growth across multiple service streams
  • Field-based autonomy with travel across North-East, Eastern and South-Eastern Melbourne (kilometres reimbursed)
  • Flexible work environment + On-site parking
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and employee discounts
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive residential aged care occupancy and manage the enquiry-to-admission pipeline
  • Conduct site tours with prospective residents and families and support conversion to admission
  • Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, GPs, ACAT assessors and discharge planners
  • Develop and execute a business development plan aligned to organisational strategy
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and expand referral pathways across home care, allied health and community services
  • Track performance metrics and provide regular reporting on activity, pipeline and outcomes
What You'll Bring
Essential
  • Non-negotiable: current or recent admissions experience within residential aged care (no exceptions)
  • Strong working knowledge of admissions, occupancy management and enquiry-to-admission conversion
  • Understanding of Australian aged care funding models and pathways (residential care, home care, CHSP)
  • Demonstrated ability to build referral networks and engage stakeholders confidently
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region (field-based role)
  • Ability to work autonomously, stay accountable to targets, and communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders
  • NDIS screening check (required)
Desirable
  • Tertiary qualification in business, health administration, marketing or a related field
  • Business development experience within aged care, healthcare or community services
  • Experience working across multiple service streams (e.g., home care, allied health, rehabilitation, home modifications)
