Ardex Technology is building the next generation of software for the equine industry.Ardex supports the people behind the performance — trainers, breeders, agistment farms, vets, service providers, auctioneers and equine businesses — with software that helps them manage horses, owners, workflows, billing, invoicing and financial processes.
We are now looking for a Tech Business Analyst to join our Product Team and work directly alongside our Product Manager as we continue to build EPONA and expand the Ardex platform in Australia and around the world.
This is a hands-on product role in a small, fast-moving software business. You will turn business goals, customer feedback and product ideas into clear, detailed requirements that engineers can build from and testers can validate.
The role will suit someone who is: • Methodical, analytical and detail-obsessed • Comfortable writing clear business, functional and non-functional requirements • Confident challenging assumptions, gaps and incomplete thinking • Experienced in writing epics, user stories and acceptance criteria • Comfortable working with product, engineering, architecture, customer service and clients • Able to manage UAT, regression testing, bug triage and release communication • Familiar with agile delivery, Jira and tools such as Figma • Interested in financial, accounting or workflow-heavy software • Energised by a fast-paced environment where no two weeks look the same
This role is not for someone looking for a narrow BA seat in a slow-moving corporate environment. It is for someone who wants variety, ownership and the chance to help shape software that is genuinely important to the horse industry.
You will be involved in requirements, solution design, product documentation, backlog management, testing, release notes, customer feedback loops and internal training. Some days you will be deep in technical specifications. Other days you may be helping triage a post-release issue or supporting a client training session.
What we are looking for: • 2–3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst or similar • Experience in a B2B SaaS or technology business • Strong requirements documentation skills • Strong written and verbal communication • High attention to detail • Confidence working with engineers and product teams • A practical, collaborative attitude • A sense of humour and a genuine interest in building great software
If this is you, please simply apply. The company offers both a lucrative package and career opportunities and significant future growth opportunities.
To be eligible to apply, you must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
