Business Development Manager

I am currently working with an established renewable energy developer and asset owner. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead commercial growth across Western Australia. The RoleReporting directly to senior leadership, this is a highly autonomous individual contributor position responsible for driving new project opportunities and developing strategic customer relationships throughout WA.You will focus on identifying, nurturing, and securing renewable energy and energy storage opportunities with large energy users while working closely with internal stakeholders and external delivery partners. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute business development strategies across Western Australia.Build relationships with decision-makers across mining, manufacturing, agriculture, and industrial sectors.Identify and originate solar PV, BESS, and broader energy infrastructure opportunities.Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract execution.Educate customers on long-term energy solutions, including behind-the-meter PPAs and energy storage strategies. RequirementsProven business development or sales experience within renewable energy, utilities energy storage , or infrastructure.Strong network across WA's mining, manufacturing, agricultural, or industrial sectors.Experience selling or developing Solar PV, BESS, micro grid, or utility-scale energy projects.Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and navigate complex commercial discussions.Strong understanding of the renewable energy project life-cycle.Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.Based in Western Australia Should this be of interest, feel free to send your CV and we can arrange a confidential conversation.
