Axiom Technologies Pty Ltd is a growing IT and telecommunications solutions provider delivering reliable and innovative network infrastructure services to businesses across Australia. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our technical team. Role Overview

As a Network Engineer, you will design, implement, maintain, and support the organisation’s network infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance across all network systems. Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. Install, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Monitor network performance, availability, and security.

Diagnose and resolve complex network issues and outages. Implement network upgrades, expansions, and optimization projects. Maintain IP addressing, VLANs, routing protocols, and subnetting.

Ensure network security through firewalls, access controls, and monitoring tools. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for network support and projects. Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.

Conduct routine network testing, backup, and disaster recovery support. Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in network engineering or related role. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and VPNs. Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.

Understanding of network security principles and firewall configuration. Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and documentation abilities. What We Offer
